About me I am a professionally qualified and BACP accredited counsellor and psychotherapist, with 18 years experience, providing individual and couple counselling, including Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), on a short-term and long-term basis in an oasis of calm away from the hustle and bustle of modern life. My approach to counselling/psychotherapy There are a number of different approaches to counselling and psychotherapy. I work primarily using CBT, Schema Therapy and Compassion Focused Therapy (CFT), which all have a strong evidence base. The quality of the therapeutic relationship contributes to a positive outcome in counselling, which is very important in my work.
